Living Nativity
For more than 20 years Shepherd of the Hills has given a Christmas gift to the community
through our Living Nativity. The story of Christ’s birth is professionally narrated, and adults and children alike look forward to donning beautiful costumes of Mary and Joseph, kings, angels, and shepherds to show in a small way what the biblical narrative tells of the holy birth of the Savior. And of course, there are always donkeys and sheep for kids (and grownups) to pet!
The past several years, we have welcomed the community into our fellowship hall for soup, snacks, hot beverages and warm fellowship. The event is free, but part of this ministry also is collecting food and monetary donations to support Loaves and Fishes.

Stay tuned for more info on our 2026 Living Nativity, but keep the second Saturday evening in December open as the likely date!
